Full Time Job
This is a full-time touring position. Applicant should have or be prepared to purchase motor home or travel trailer and tow vehicle.
DUTIES:
• Provides assistance to the practical needs of the artists on tour, including daily crisis management
• Makes travel arrangements (both domestic and international) for artists, musicians, ORSH teachers, creative staff and management. This is to include information on the moves from city to city for all artists and staff.
• Arranges car rentals, parking and hotels for musicians, ORSH teachers and creative staff whenever necessary
• Serves as the primary on-site Public Relations Representative; scheduling, arranging and monitoring public relations activities in cooperation with the Director of Communications and Public Relations Manager (8th Avenue)
• Accompanies all media and press personnel when on-site
• Remains on call during performances to help with exigencies and emergencies
• Assists in the set-up and tear down of the Artistic Office
• In conjunction with Assistant Performance Director, aides in the parking of show owned trailers from site to site
• Coordinates performers for special events
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills
• Computer expertise in word processing and data formulation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and the public
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact and diplomacy under all conditions
