Video & After Effects Editor / Design Animator

Job Description:
The Video Editor and Design Animator is responsible for working with BNO's Production Team to create a variety of video spots including, but not limited to, promotional spots for pre-roll advertising, commercials for cable advertising, how to tutorial videos and demo videos.

In addition to editing footage and creating custom animation graphics, this person will also be involved in the creative design, storyboarding and video shoots for each piece. This position will work under tight deadlines and occasionally be expected to turnaround finalized pieces within 24 hours. The Video Editor and Design Animator is the lead editor for all of these spots, although s/he may ask for support from other members of the team as needed.

The Video Editor and Design Animator will work closely with BNO's in-house production and broadcast team. This position will also work closely with the company's COO, CEO, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Create spots based on a brief, shot list, script and/or screenplay
• Edit and produce all videos as needed
• Select / suggest music for spots as needed
• Animate logos, copy and images as required by each video's storyboard
• Work with the production team to recreate Live Auction videos using After Effects
• Work with the production team to film live and VO shoots; Assist in the directing of video and VO shoots
• Assist in the creative design and storyboarding of each promotional piece
• Work with the marketing team to create commercials and promo spots

Requirements:
• Highly skilled at After Effects
• Extensive experience in Video Editing and Animation
• Experienced in Project Management
• Experienced in Directing, Creative Design and Storyboarding
• Must possess solid, technical knowledge in all phases of post-production including, but not limited to: video compression standards, aspect ratios, interlacing issues, frame rates and HD post production workflows
• Basic audio mixing skills
• Willing to work some long hours and weekends as required by project assignments
• Camera and/or Photography skills a plus, but not required
