BiCoastal Productions is a NYC based boutique entertainment agency seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented assistant with a passion for performing arts to support a managing level agent in a growing company that represents a wide variety of acts around the world including music/concerts, theatre productions, family shows, cabaret, broadway, comedy, etc.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Able to work efficiently in and handle with poise and professionalism a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Acute attention to detail, highly organized and analytical
- Driven and willing to take initiative
- Excellent problem solver with ability to make sound and practical decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps and Adobe for both Macintosh and Windows Operating Systems
- Be a team player
- Music industry/Performing Arts industry and/or booking/sales experience preferred
- Desire to become an agent
Responsibilities:
- Handle phone and e-mail correspondence
- Schedule meetings
- Track deposits and ticket counts
- Further develop and maintain client database
- Prepare and send e-blasts
- Manage calendars
- Significant Client interaction
- Receive offers and prepare contracts
- Miscellaneous office management duties
- Additional responsibilities as they occur with the expansion and development of the agency?
