Details: Bexel Broadcast Services, a worldwide provider of broadcast equipment rental, sales and services for the television production industry is looking for an ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE SUPPORT position in our Herndon, VA office. This administrative assistant role will primarily help with day-to-day management of client accounts and provide support to our account executives and engineering team, and interact on a regular basis with our operations, accounting, and asset management staff. Incoming phone call management for the office and administrative/clerical is included in this role.

Responsibilities include:
• Assist with internal communications, incoming phone call management and routing.
• Complete billing process for account executives, review credit applications for accuracy and content, process insurance certificates and liaison with corporate accounting staff on any billing issues.
• Secure purchase orders for equipment, parts and office supplies.
• Review daily transaction reports and assist in researching billing and contract job costing issues.
• Monitor customer contracts, assuring all associated costs are appropriately tracked.
• Assist Account Executives on large rental projects to ensure that contracts are entered correctly in the system, revenue distribution is complete and accuracy maintained throughout the duration of the contract.
• Process external repair orders, order parts and track status
• Coordinate and schedule equipment service and repairs.

The successful candidate will be an administration “wizard”, well-organized and extremely detail-oriented. Candidates must also be a proactive team player, have excellent communication skills, with an eye for how to improve process efficiencies.

Candidates should have 5+ years experience in an administrative role, emphasis on multi-tasking. Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and an aptitude for learning new systems quickly and thoroughly. Previous experience in the broadcast industry related to audio and video gear a plus.
