Marketing Assistant/Community Manger

Stealth mode start-up, located in Marina Del Rey is looking for a part time, Marketing Assistant/Community Manger who wants to spend their summer with us to be part of an emerging interactive & entertainment market. We're creating products that combine traditional books and nontraditional interactive games. Proximity to LA is required.

Position Description
The Community Manager is responsible for developing & executing social media strategies with the Marketing Director and CEO for the company's products and their brands. The CM works closely with and reports to the Marketing Lead.

Duties include but are not limited to:

General Marketing Assistance
• Generate daily website performance reports through our analytics reporting tool
• Generate weekly social performance reports
• Monitor all active advertising campaigns

Content Generation and Messaging
• Manage the creation and sending email marketing efforts and track performance
• Manage content generation and messaging on Product websites (e.g. blog posts, press, events)

Social Media Activity
• Manage and build activity across all social media platforms through daily postings on varying topics (TBD) that will drive users to the site
• Manage and build YouTube presence through posting internally generated videos and tagging like-minded programs' videos, engaging with other YouTube members

Website Content Quality Control
• Manage sweetpickles@bentoboxinteractive email account for questions, bug reports, feedback and outreach correspondence

Skills, Time Commitment & Compensation
• Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Photoshop skills a plus.
• This position will begin ASAP and be active through August. College Senior majoring in Advertising or Marketing Preferred.

Compensation is hourly. This position does not receive benefits.
