NYTV & Video Week 2016 Volunteer Posting
We are looking for individuals available to commit to helping with event logistics for three days, October 17, 19, and 20, during NYC Television & Video Week
This will be a one-of-a-kind opportunity for anyone interested in making connections and gaining experience in the television entertainment industry. You'll learn about various aspects of the television landscape, have the opportunity to escort/meet top-tier executives and hear from the biggest decision makers in television.
NYC Television & Video Week is a celebration of the television industry in the media capital of the world and will be attended by top executives from Wall Street, advertising, broadcast, cable-TV, telco and satellite companies, the programming and creative community, mobile TV and technology firms. The event includes conferences, award presentations, seminars and endless networking opportunities. The event is presented by NewBay Media (publishers of Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News) and the National Association of Broadcasters. Visit the website to view a list of confirmed speakers and review the agendas.
Should you be willing to help out, your role may include assisting with registration, escorting high-level senior executive speakers to the green room, directing conference attendees, passing the microphone for audience questions, and other general logistics assistance. Below is a rough outline of our schedule.
Monday, October 17 - Virtual Reality 20/20 at The TimesCenter
Approximate hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Wednesday, October 19 and Thursday, October 20 - The Grand Hyatt
Approximate hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Please respond if you're interested no later than Monday, October 3, 2016.
