Beachbody, the leading producer and developer of the most successful health and fitness programs in the country, is looking for a highly talented, passionate, and driven Product Development Specialist to join our exceptional team. From pre- to post-production, inception to commercialization, you'll help us manage the process of developing the highest quality products that deliver on their promises. You're Right For This Job If You Can:
Understand all aspects of product development and project management. You'll be focused on preproduction, production and post production, organizing castings, test groups, and photo shoots,producing segments, conducting interviews, managing photo selection, as well as writing and editing print and marketing materials.
Wear many hats. You'll need to have the ability to quickly shift your focus from concept development to production to critical communication and/or cross-functionalcoordination efforts.
Be self-motivated and own your job. Some of the things you'll be responsible for include testimonial development (casting, production, communication, and paperwork) and casting (posting, decision making, offers, deals, presentation, communication, and paperwork).
Always be prepared. You'll need to gather, organize, and coordinate scripts, music, props, sets, talent, facilities, and other needs for productions, so it's important to be organized.
Do your best work in a collaborative environment. Not only will you support the Director of Development, you'll also communicate with all Beachbody departments, including Executive, Business Development, Operations, Creative, Production, Post, IT, Web, and Team Beachbody.
Have ridiculously high standards of quality. You'll conduct QC on all materials while working to identify and correct any discrepancies.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years production/post production or related experience.
Minimum of 2 years product development experience.
Project management training preferred.
Demonstrated skills in research, writing, and the ability to work under deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Competence with software including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Business, TV/Film Production or Journalism.
Excellent business judgment and creativity.
Self-directed problem solver.
Organized, detail-oriented and thorough.
Team player and multi-tasker.
Good to know:
You may be required to travel to locations for interviews, productions, or fieldwork.
You may be required to work unconventional hours, such as nights and weekends.
