Systems Integration Manager New York, NY
Good systems integration is like conducting a symphony. We begin with an understanding of the composer's vision - a designer's or engineer's picture of a permanently installed entertainment technology system. Our job is to make that vision come to life, pulling the various tools together and integrating them into a fully unified system. Since 1947, Barbizon has worked to simplify the complex for our customers. Whether it's basic applications, or the latest state-of-the-art tools, nobody knows more about control systems, automated and fixed rigging, architectural lighting, and, of course, theatrical, television, and entertainment lighting.
Overall Responsibility
Planning, management and oversight of System sales and integration, Project Management and Field Service Departments for the New York region.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Daily management of particular office systems division.
• Establish and maintain standards for systems pricing, project management and field service.
• Coordinate allocation of resources.
• Develop new sales opportunities, new markets.
• Establish strategic sales direction.
• Establish training regimen for staff.
• Establish with President of Company methods for employee performance & salary reviews.
• Work in conjunction with President of Company to establish yearly budgets for staffing, travel and entertainment.
• Sales forecasting.
• Follow-up on delinquent accounts.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with manufacturers and vendors.
• Work with President, National Systems Director and HR Director on interviewing and hiring of new staff.
• Responsible for supervising and executing all paperwork and approvals for insurance, liens and contracts.
• Assess profitability on specific jobs and determine which jobs to bid and which not to bid.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Educational Requirements
• BS, BFA or MFA in technical theatre, television, engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 7 years industry, systems integration and sales experience at the dealer or manufacturer level.
