The Engineer Department has an internship position available at our very busy post production sound studio where you will learn sound for English language versions of anime, games, and features. We are seeking sharp individuals who can work well in a team as well as independently. This is an unpaid internship. Shift is from 9:30am - 6:30pm, (at least) 2 days a week.
Duties:
*Assisting with Backups, Digitizing Video and Audio
*Setting up ADR sessions, QC's & Final Laybacks
*Researching information as needed on the internet
*Maintaining studio cleanliness and functionality
*Assisting the engineering team
*Other duties as seen fit by supervisors
Requirements:
*A degree or currently working on a degree from a Sound Engineering Program or school.
*Knowledge of Pro Tools for Post Production
*Knowledge of MS Office programs
*Internet Savvy
*Dynamic, outgoing personality along with a very positive attitude and desire to provide excellent support
*Comfortable working both as a team & independently
*Willingness & ambition to learn and take on more responsibilities
*Outstanding time management skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Exceptional organization skills required
*Able to accept constructive criticism positively & make necessary changes
*Extremely detail-oriented and accurate
*High energy required. Must be able to thrive in fast-paced, creative environment with ability to multi-task
*Must be able to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week for 3 month
*Must have your own mode of transportation and be able to provide a valid driver's license
