Back Roads Entertainment is a successful unscripted TV production company based in NYC. Our credits currently include Joking Off (MTV), Big Bad BBQ Brawl (Cooking Channel) and Lake Life (DIY). We are currently looking for Production interns with a passion for reality TV who are available a minimum of 2 days and up to 3 full days a week.
Primary responsibility of our interns will be to support the Tech Manager before and during shoots and to help with pre-production responsibilities. Interns will also participate in a 13-week lesson plan that covers all aspects of the TV production process, from development to production to post-production. The curriculum will include weekly classes from Back Roads employees as well as weekly pitch sessions with the entire development and casting staff.
Applicants are REQUIRED to obtain school credit for this internship. A passion for gear and knowledge of how camera, lighting and audio equipment works is preferred.
