Back Roads Entertainment is a successful, unscripted production company based in NYC. Our credits currently include Joking Off (MTV), Big Bad BBQ Brawl (Cooking) and Lake Life (DIY).
We are currently looking for interns with a passion for reality TV who are available a minimum of 2 days and up to 3 days a week.
Primary responsibility of our interns will be to support the Tech Manager before and during shoots and to help with pre-production responsibilities.
The internship will also provide a 13-week lesson plan that will cover all aspects of television production for both scripted and unscripted projects, from development to production to post-production. The curriculum will include lectures from guests and internal discussions, culminating with the intern creating a sizzle to pitch to the CEO and VP of Development of Back Roads.
We ask that our interns be bright, organized, motivated, professional, have a passion for film and television, and a willingness to learn. Applicants are REQUIRED to obtain school credit for this internship. A passion for gear and knowledge of how camera, lighting and audio equipment works is preferred but not required.
