BMI is looking for talented individuals to join our Sales team!
Our Sales team plays a key role in generating the royalties for our BMI songwriters, composers and publishers! Be a part of BMI’s long history as a leader in music performance rights by selling music licenses to businesses who use music.
Successful Sales Representatives use their sales skills and business acumen to sell the value of the music license to perform the renowned BMI music catalog. Licensing Sales Representatives educate the marketplace and secure licenses in support of BMI affiliates.
Here’s what you need to know:
• This is a high volume, outbound call center setting. Licensing Sales Representatives speak with hundreds of business a week selling the BMI music license.
• This is a challenging role that involves doing the same thing every day so being assertive and self-directed is paramount.
• This role has a base pay and lucrative commission offering for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Building a sense of trust and credibility, asking open-ended questions and responding with appropriate information, the successful Licensing Sales Representative educates and conveys the benefits of licensing.
• Our Licensing Sales Representatives are highly focused on call Metrics and achieving their Sales targets. If you are motivated by reaching and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly call goals, this role could be for you.
• Monthly take home commission for achieving and exceeding goal ranges from $850 to over $10K/month
Tools and Resources
• Use our advanced Sales Management System to manage the sales process and add intel to leads, while reviewing historical data to successfully complete outbound calls and convert leads to sales.
• Use our Automated Dialer to automatically connect directly to businesses, saving valuable time.
• Passionate and knowledgeable sales leadership team provide training, on-going education, support and mentorship.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
• One year experience in transactional sales environment preferred
• One year experience in a call center environment preferred
• Proven ability to overcome objections and close the deal
• Proficient with technology tools (Microsoft Office, Windows, CRM/Salesforce.com)
