Full Time Job
BLT+ (a division of BLT Communications) is looking for Social Media Project Manager to join our social team, focusing on titles for a top tier entertainment client. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and an innate understanding of the social media platforms.
This position requires a detail oriented self-starter who is hands on and can manage multiple projects at once.
Role & Responsibilities
• Maintain, at minimum, a high-level of knowledge on all current projects for the social team
• Participate in brainstorms for projects
• Track long term project deadlines & client requests/weekly deliverables
• Help set up any new social accounts needed and manage password docs
• Act as a liaison between creative group (internal and external), client, and social team for asset deliveries (scheduling, QA support, etc)
• Enforce general social policies (internal and client)
• Provide additional support to community management team as needed:
o Paid campaign deliveries
o Schedule posts and assist with engagement
• Participate in weekly status calls with the client and report on progress
• Ability to work full-time with some night/weekend work as needed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 2-3 years of project management, social media based preferred (at least 1 year managing film/tv/streaming service projects)
• Clear understanding of all social platforms and their nuances- how to use them, specs, best practices, etc. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat)
• Attention to detail is crucial as we juggle multiple projects and platforms with millions of fans (and clients) looking on
• Excellent communication skills (online and in person)
• Ability to collaborate with other teams across different disciplines
• Curiosity! We want you to tell us what's new and cool in pop culture and what's trending
• Be insightful - the ability to look at what works and what doesn't and go from there
• Have an opinion and a good reason for it, but also be open to feedback and constructive criticism.
• College degree preferred
This position reports to the Director of Social & Creative Strategy
