BLKBX is a creative group in the heart of Hollywood that works with clients in entertainment, content, brands, and technology to bring cutting-edge ideas to the social space.
We are seeking community managers who are an enthusiastic team players. Our ideal candidate is a fan of all things comic book related; from the mightiest heroes, to the zaniest jokesters, and all the fun merchandise in-between . Your experience should include social network account management, recommending social strategy, analytics and reporting, and day-to-day community management. You must regularly monitor social accounts, including fan sentiment, and address problem posts in a timely manner that is consistent with our
established voice.
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Be a super fan of all things geek and entertainment related
- Be ready to hit the ground running, and work efficiently with the team to get the job done
- Possess a proactive, positive, collaborative attitude with the confidence to lead a team
- Thrive in a creative environment where expressing yourself is crucial
- Be at once tough and strong, yet calm and fair-minded, with a fun energy
- Be equally comfortable working with our internal team as interacting with clients
- Constantly build your knowledge of the brand and its fans
Requirements:
- 2-3 years as a community manager- entertainment or big brand experience is highly preferred
- A strong understanding and solid experience in the social space, including keeping up-to-date with various networks/platforms, apps, and trends
- Experience across many analytics platforms and reporting methodologies
- An understanding of the tools used in the social space, and the ability to make recommendations for campaign optimization based on the data collected
- A knowledge of what can be done, what should be done, and the limits and possibilities of commonly used platforms
- Excellent written and language skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both technical information and creative ideas
- Experience with client and management interaction
- Ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and suggest resolutions
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Must be able to work locally, on site?
