Leading digital music aggregator looking for seasoned Director of Content and Asset Management. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional managerial, technical and organizational skills. This position will be responsible for overseeing all content management and delivery needs for a very active and reputable digital music distribution company.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and facilitate delivery of content to online music retailers (iTunes, eMusic, etc)
• Maintain quality control of all audio deliveries
• Track audio asset ingestion, delivery and potential take down requests
• Manage content team to create and prioritize delivery schedules
• Ingest metadata into content database
• Provide regular, detailed status reports to executive team
• Serve as main point of contact with third-party royalty and delivery services
• Determine and define infrastructure and hardware needs
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years experience in digital media, mobile or interactive industries
• Experience with asset management networks and RAID systems
• Technical expertise - Excellent understanding of databases and XML
• Proven leadership and managerial capabilities – team motivator and accelerator
• Ability to analyze and adapt business requirements accordingly
• Expert software skills with audio conversion, Filemaker PRO, Excel, SQL and MacOS
• Prior relationships with online music services a huge advantage
• Interest in music and music genres a plus
