Sr. Analyst, Digital Pricing & Inventory
BET Networks
BET Networks is hiring a Sr. Analyst of Digital Pricing & Inventory with experience in data analysis/management.
We’re looking for a data savvy individual who can fluently travel between the worlds of spreadsheets, operations, sales and marketing - and seamlessly process challenges and string solutions across these points. The ideal candidate gets excited about finding new and better ways to achieve goals, makes everyone around them better (and excited to be a part of their projects), and loves the world of digital advertising.
The Sr. Analyst will report to the Manager of Digital Pricing and Inventory and will be responsible for helping to maximize revenue generated by BET’s digital media properties, and working with various teams and stakeholders during all critical stages of the sales cycle. This includes deal structuring (pricing, volume/forecasting, metrics, packaging), campaign fulfillment, product development and client retention.
Responsibilities:
• Support Manager of Digital Pricing and Inventory in maintaining digital rate card and providing Sales team with pricing guidance for custom digital media plans
• Marry historical trend analyses with editorial plans to forecast inventory expectations
• Increase revenue yield across BET’s digital properties through well-constructed advertising deals
• Monitor inventory pacing against sales commitments on a daily basis to communicate shortfall risks to Media Managers and Audience Development teams
• Translate data and analyses into clear and concise insights/implications for cross-functional teams
• Work often and closely with Sales teams and Sales management to deliver against both the needs of the business and the marketplace
• Partner with senior site team management to help manage campaign delivery, optimize ad unit performance, and execute pages with the ideal set of monetization and UX
• Produce daily reports and conduct ad hoc analyses to support key business decisions
• Continuously and proactively identify and implement operational enhancements
Basic Qualifications
Other requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Advanced level data and Excel skills
• Finely tuned intrapersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
