Unpaid Internship for College Credit
BBC Worldwide Productions (BBCWP) is seeking a handful of select individuals for FALL Internships in our Los Angeles office.
BBCWP is the commercial / entertainment production entity of BBC Worldwide based in Los Angeles, with credits including Dancing with the Stars, Top Gear, DaVinci's Demons, Getting On, Life Below Zero, Ladies of London and many more.
You MUST be able to receive class credit for the internship.
Applicants should be highly driven, self-motivated individuals looking to immerse themselves in a television development and production environment. Up-beat, friendly, positive attitudes are a MUST.
All Interns MUST have reliable car, current insurance and good driving record.
CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR FALL 2016, but applicants welcome throughout the year. Undergrad and Graduate students both welcome.
Internships are all focused in a ''development office'' environment with the opportunity to experience further production/post-production immersion depending upon seasonal business as well as personal ambition / interest.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
UNSCRIPTED DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Research for various projects
• Assist with casting (transcription, pulling bytes and creating bios)
• Participation in development meetings, including prep and wrap work
• Tracking new shows
• Tracking market trends
UNSCRIPTED PRODUCTION INTERN
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Administrative tasks (copies, scans, faxing, filing, creating/updating binders, Excel spreadsheets and Expense Reports)
• DVD Replication and Logging (burning, dubbing, labeling and organizing)
• Research for shows (vendors, production gear, products, and other topics)
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties, as assigned
• Ability to use Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and have experience handling production equipment is a PLUS
