Advertising Sales Representative Fashion Magazine
Internationally published fashion magazine BASIC Magazine is looking for a part-time Sales Executives, who are willing to contribute to the making of the BASIC fashion empire.
Start mid June
Commission based , however it is negotiable to have base + commissions with the right candidate after the trial period and after reaching sales targets.

At BASIC we are looking for an Advertising Super Star, the top performer and a competitive individual, who has the drive, passion and energy to succeed.
You will be selling advertising space in our print, digital and social media platforms, including high end fashion events and other creative projects working closely with both advertising agencies and B2B luxury clients.
This role requires current contacts within clients and agencies both on the West and East coast region and will have responsibility for increasing the list of potential advertisers. It is the right fit for a self-motivated, driven, outgoing individual who thrives on setting and surpassing goals and who already has experience within advertising media and publishing.
With BASIC magazine global expansion plan, in terms of circulation & marketing there is no limit to the earning potential, therefore we are also willing to give the candidate an opportunity to take on the leadership and potentially form his/her own sales team within the company. You will be working out of BASIC Magazine office in Beverly Hills. Time schedule can be flexible as long as we are meeting the sales goals.
The Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Building and maintaining relationships with new clients
Meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals
Daily contact over the phone with prospects to promote advertising space in print, online, events (communicating with ad agencies is a must)
Cold calling new prospects and expanding the leads list
Attending client meetings, pitching the ad space in face-to-face client meetings
Attend networking & fashion events on behalf of the company

Advertising Sales Manager Qualifications:
2-5 years of sales experience
Experience with print (newspaper/magazine) and/or online advertising sales is a PLUS.

Access to existing leads, contacts, data bases
Ability to demonstrate success in developing, maintaining and growing relationships with interactive agencies and clients and exercise excellent follow up
Determine, persistent, great outgoing personality
Impeccable personal style & representation
Preferable experience in the entertainment or fashion industry- familiarity/connections with accounts and agencies
Strong communication and presentation skills - verbal and written, in person and by telephone
Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills
Knowledge of social media & digital world
BA in Marketing or Business preferred
Sales Force/CRM, Microsoft Office
CPM, Unique Visitors, Page Views, Impressions, etc.
