B2+, the best darn advertising and branded content agency in Studio City, is looking for a project coordinator to join our team!
Requirements:
· At least 1-year experience as a post-production, production or marketing coordinator at a network, agency or production company.
· Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
· Knowledge and understanding of general post-production workflow, on-air/broadcast specs, and deliverables.
· Well-versed in Mac/Windows-based products (including third party applications, servers, browsers and mail clients), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Keynote and Google Drive.
· Familiarity with Hot Budgets, Quickbooks, FCP 7 & X, AVID Media Composer, and Adobe CC welcomed, but not necessary
· Sense of humor is always a plus, as well as the ability to learn quickly and improvise in sticky situations.
· Looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm for the job, who can be proactive on research and sales ideas.
· Interest and background in marketing a huge plus as well!
Responsibilities include:
· Project management: working closely under the Production Manager to shepherd projects smoothly from start to finish by:
- Creating production calendars
- Meeting milestones
- Keeping project folders organized and updated
- Keeping track of project assets
- Updating and managing schedules
- Communicating with client and internal teams daily
· Scheduling: creating and managing workflows, post schedules and graphics schedules as well as attending daily scheduling meetings to assess upcoming personnel needs (editors, writers, designers, etc).
· Assisting in booking and scheduling freelance editors and designers, as well as booking audio finishing/mixing sessions.
· QC'ing and delivering final files to clients and networks, which includes knowledge of FTP, Aspera, codecs, frame rates, etc., as well as creating music cue sheets and final scripts.
· Serving as a liaison between the post departments and creative departments.
· Interfacing with clients to share and update post and delivery schedules as well as requesting assets, vendor packages, music library info etc.
· Keeping track of employee and freelancer hours of the creative and production team, so that they can be reported to the EP.
· Basic office management duties: helping with phones, weekly grocery runs, cheque runs and production runs.
**The job will be freelance for the first three months and then transfer to a full-time position.
