Axium Digital, Inc. a leader in Captioning and localization services is seeking a full-time Sr. Project Manager. Primary responsibilities are ensuring accurate Coordination and Management of Closed Captioning and localization projects with the distribution of all necessary materials to sub-contractors and agencies world-wide.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Coordination and Management of multi-lingual DVD, BD, Online Streaming and Broadcast projects in conjunction with Account Manager, English and Scheduling Department to ensure deadlines are met.
• Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure meeting of deadlines and troubleshooting of problem projects in a highly professional and collaborative manner.
• Liaise daily with the Scheduling Coordinator regarding the booking of sub-contractors for current and upcoming projects, and the issuing of relevant Purchase Orders.
• Be the main point of contact for all sub-contractors on issues concerning translation, feedback, and queries; specific focus on relationship building and work sharing with colleagues worldwide; implement and assess all procedural change initiatives in line with our current operations.
• Ensure the coordination of projects are of the highest quality and is achieved through company resources.
• Responsible for ensuring accurate scheduling, expediting of client materials, meeting client deadline, quality control, and expediting deliverable outputs.
• Provide full and professional support to all colleagues and sub-contractors world-wide.
• Contribute to the ongoing expansion of the sub-contractor database.
• Other duties may be assigned as required in the course of the business unit's growing needs and requirements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Degree-educated (preference for linguistic degree, and near-native familiarity with at least one language other than English); all additional education and experience welcomed.
• Extensive experience working in a Subtitling department.
• Must be an accomplished and committed team player; highly organized; advanced prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have the ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Computer literacy; familiarity with major subtitling software, emerging digital technologies and the general post-production industry.
• Client- and service- focused; extensive experience in relationship-building (internal & external) especially with sub-contractors; advanced skills in troubleshooting of subtitle translation projects.
