The Talent Assistant role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with talent, has previous experience working in a talent agency and wants to continue to grow in that realm. The role will provide administrative support to the Chief Talent Officer, which includes phone coverage and scheduling, as well support AwesomenessTV's talent team at large for departmental meetings, events, projects, etc. This role will often be interacting with traditional and digital talent and representation on behalf of the department, so a strong level of professionalism and comfort working with talent is a must.
Specific Duties:
-Manage the Chief of Talent's calendar, phones, travel, and internal/external relations
-Provide supplemental support in scheduling departmental meetings or obligations internally and externally
-Interact with many different internal teams in regards to talent's participation in a variety of content
-Serve as onsite support at talent based and company-wide events (i.e. conventions, premieres, etc.)
-Compile notes to send out to team after each week's Talent Team meeting
-Become well versed in emerging and top digital and traditional talent that are popular with our target audience.
-Collaborate with Talent Coordinator on projects and assignments for Talent Team interns.
Requirements:
-Background working as an assistant with a talent agency is strongly preferred.
-1+ years of desk experience is preferred.
-Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
-Desire to be a team player and work with many different departments of a growing media company.
