Human Resources Director
Awesomeness TV is seeking Human Resources Director with a demonstrated record of success and career progression in a fast paced, corporate environment. The HR Director will play an important role in the organization: providing compensation guidance, organizational and management development, implementation of HR programs, overseeing compliance, project management and other hands-on activities. This role requires a collaborative and flexible individual who is a proactive communicator and able to develop effective relationships at all levels. Responsibilities will be both strategic and tactical, focused on supporting several hundred employees. It is critical to deliver a high level of service by providing appropriate influence, guidance and assistance to address a variety of employee related issues. You will work closely with the Head of Human Resources to anticipate employee and organizational issues and make recommendations and implement solutions to attract, motivate, develop and retain employees.

Responsibilities include:
Administration & General HR:
• Provide generalist HR support including employee relations, compensation strategy, and interpretation of policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Promote positive employee relations and successful business practices
• Drafting compliant and nuanced communications including memos, letters, policies and program materials
Compliance & Compensation
• Provide periodic reviews of job descriptions and audit the FLSA status of positions
• Manage and complete industry relevant compensation surveys; create templates and recommend strategies for best practices at ATV
• Schedule and ensure completion of compliance and mandatory trainings
• Research, recommend and secure resources for alternative learning and development opportunities
Performance Management
• Recommend and develop appropriate templates, trainings and systems for performance evaluation and management process
• Assist in management of the annual performance and compensation review process
• Provide advice, coaching and counseling to managers and employees in the areas of conflict resolution, performance management, promotions, terminations
Data & Reporting
• Conduct regular audits of HRIS system to ensure accuracy and quality of data and system functionality
• Provide accurate and informative reports for HR, Finance and Executive review
• Oversee state and federal reporting requirements and filings
• Work closely with payroll and benefits to maintain proper controls and process protocols are met
Project Management
• Create maintain and distribute roadmaps, timelines and milestone reporting for various HR initiatives
• Assist in the development of materials and presentations relating to policy changes and communications
• Collaborate with IT and Facilities on implementation of organization wide programs and practices
Qualifications:
• 7-10 years demonstrated / recognized background in Human Resources with specific experience in data and project management
• Must have exceptional communication skills with ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels: listen effectively, provide feedback, express ideas to build consensus, and generate enthusiasm
• Understanding of labor laws and a strong HR sensibility and judgment
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to solve problems quickly and creatively
• High level of independence to manage multiple ongoing issues and complex employee related matters
• Self-directed, able to manage multiple projects and produce results in a timely manner
• Technical proficiency including Microsoft Office, Visio, Gmail, and HRIS systems
• Legal right to work in the United States
