As an independent distribution company focused on delivering quality films to a global audience, we will involve you in all stages of the process. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic and wants to gain experience in market research and advertising. We have assisted our former interns in getting entry and mid-level positions at Paramount, Paradigm, Ramo Law, Red Sea, Red Granite - one even launched his own distribution company taking the industry by storm.
During the course of this internship (3 months), you will develop a strong understanding of the film distribution world and how to influence the worldwide marketplace. You will learn how to identify and target an audience for films across all genres, as well as be involved in the pre-production, and post-production stages of filmmaking. You'll write coverage on scripts, help with film market preparation, cut trailers, design posters, build websites, and learn what it takes to launch a brand new film label.
If you have a creative spirit, a knack for social media, a good eye for detail, and above all, a passion for film, this role will be perfect for you.
Photoshop and Premiere skills for creating promotional content are especially helpful.
