Responsibilities include heavy phones (scheduling calls, rolling calls and maintaining call sheets), calendar management, script, book and additional material coverage including, but not limited to, screening unsolicited and solicited script and book submissions. Additional responsibilities include taking detailed notes, brainstorming writer, director, show-runner and talent ideas.
You should have a strong understanding of the entertainment industry, experience working with high level writers, directors, development executives, production companies, networks, studios, etc. Knowledge of the development process a major plus.
The desk straddles both the production and talent worlds. Looking for someone who is intelligent, can think beyond the administrative duties, is very organized, and ambitious. Candidate should be hungry to get into development and production, and have a strong interest in TV. This is a great opportunity with amazing growth potential. Must have 2+ years of experience at an agency and/or in relevant industry experience. Please be Mac proficient. Strong writing skills are a must!
