Job description:
Artist Entertainment Management (AEM) formerly Acuity Entertainment Management was founded with a vision to inspire, guide, produce and build a family of successful actors, screenwriters, producers and filmmakers.
The company is comprised of three divisions: Management, Consulting and Production.
The Management Division concentrates on managing actors, writers, and media artists.
The Consulting Division focuses on providing career advice and direction in the entertainment field to individuals that are not personally managed by AEM.
The Production Division concentrates on the development and production of original content developed by our writers, directors and actors.
Our ideal intern will be a forward-thinking, independent worker, able to manage timelines and deadlines, and have strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media websites.
The social media intern will be assisting in:
- Pitching, writing, and socializing features about the company's clients. Platforms the intern will be working on include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.
- Accumulate feedback from artists' fan sites & socials and summarize into reports with inventive suggestions.
- Research: Social media interns need to know what is happening in the fast changing world of social and digital media, what competitors are doing and what new measurement tools are being use.
- Problem-Solving: Figure out how to best communicate a company's message on different platforms, and sometimes might need to convey sensitive issues or deal with angry clients.?
- Interpersonal Skills: Even through writing, social media managers are a direct connection between a company and the public. Being friendly and approachable online will help.
Student must have a laptop that they can bring and use when needed.
