Position: Booking Assistant
Hours: Full Time
Start Date: April 2015
Location: Westlake Village, California - 30 miles North of Los Angeles

Apregan Entertainment is a project management company that provides tour direction, talent buying, strategic planning and business affairs support to the live entertainment industry. Job Description
The Booking Assistant will report directly to the President of the company and will assist both the President and the Booking Coordinator with data collection, data entry, supporting documentation, research, communications, and preparation of talent offers. In addition, this position will assist the Booking Coordinator with creating seating diagrams, preparing talent offers and event setup forms, and maintaining calendars and reports.
This is an excellent learning opportunity for someone who is serious about working in the live entertainment business. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, incredible attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure and work together in a team environment will be critical to achieving success.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the President and Booking Coordinator with research and coordination of events and day-to-day business, including administrative duties
• Work with clients to collect, organize and distribute booking information
• Maintain and organize files, spreadsheets and information databases
• Maintain updates on the Apregan Entertainment Group website and contribute towards overall online presence
• Assist with ticket order forms and distribution of show-related information
• Maintain ticket counts and organize venue availability calendars
• Prepare agendas and coordinate meetings and conference calls
• Coordinate travel arrangements for President and special functions at industry conferences and meetings
• Special projects as needed
• General office assistance (phones, mail, office supplies, copying, filing, managing contacts, etc.)
Qualifications:
• 4-year college degree
• Must be already located in the Los Angeles area
• Previous office experience
• Previous experience as an intern or employee in this field is a plus
• Superb written and oral communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure of deadlines
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), as well as knowledge of Gmail/Google Docs
• Experience using Photoshop is a plus
