Entertainment/Celebrity Public Relations Agency seeking smart, savvy, outgoing and energetic JR Publicist to join the a fast paced and growing team of publicists for an amazing position at a mid-size PR company, located in the heart of West Hollywood. Candidate must be HAVE ALREADY WORKED IN PR AND NOT AS AN INTERN. Must love pop culture, film, TV and all aspects of the world of entertainment and branding. Candidate must also have at least TWO years of experience in some aspect of Entertainment (PR, agency, management, film, TV) and own a car.
DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD A FULL TIME JOB IN ENTERTAINMENT FIELD FOR ONE YEAR. NOT AN INTERNSHIP!!!!
Must be extremely organized, a self-starter, very bright, love a busy environment, be team-oriented and be a real ''people person!!'' Must have experience in PR or Entertainment for at least one year as a job not an internship! Also, candidate must truly desire a career in publicity and love working with actors and personalities. JR level position with full health benefits after 3 months. Huge room for growth after a dedicated year. This position is very someone extremely focused, dedicated and ready to embark on a real career. This a career move, not a job!!!
Duties include: writing pitch letters, writing bios, making media lists, coordinating interviews, making schedules, tracking press clippings, making electronic press kits, pitching clients to various media outlets and assisting senior account executives in his/her daily activities.
Computer skills a MUST! Social Media skills and knowledge of Cision a BONUS.
