In House Production Attorney
The production attorney will focus on legal matters related to the production of The American Hip Hop Awards.
The attorney will be responsible for negotiating, drafting and reviewing talent and crew deals, participant and location releases, and vendor agreements. The attorney will also resolve day-to-day production issues, advise on guild matters, assist in procuring production insurance, review legal issues, and work with producers to clear music and other materials for the program.
The production attorney will work closely with the Executive Producer, Business and Legal Affairs and production teams.
Qualifications
JD and state bar membership required. California bar preferred.
Minimum of three years production and entertainment law experience either in house or in private practice.
Excellent references and academic credentials
Business and commercially orientated with strong negotiation and drafting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional judgement
Established relationships within the television industry
Strong initiative to set priorities and deadlines
Ability to work under pressure in a very demanding and fast paced environment
Team work orientated attitude and a willingness to pitch in whenever needed. |
