Ambulante, the documentary film festival founded by Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna, is looking for a Social Media Marketing Coordinator to work at the Santa Monica office in preparation and during the 1st edition of Ambulante California taking place between September 21st - October 4th in Los Angeles.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop campaigns across core social media platforms for owned content, user generated content, and partner content. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, etc.
- Conduct research for future posts and generate ideas.
- Spread the word about festival program, filmmakers, events, etc.
- Administer and coordinate cross functional social media campaigns during film festival.
- Gather data, analyze results and prepare reports on social media efforts.
Skills:
- Clear understanding of social media and community online channels
- Experience writing content to represent brands
- Must be passionate about and have an understanding of social/online customer behavior
Detail oriented.
- Proactive, well organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects.
- Should have high energy, creativity and perseverance and hopefully love towards documentary film!
