Amazon Media Group (AMG) has an opening for a Sr. Training Program Manager, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a strong training development background. As the Sr. Training Program Manager, you will be responsible for building the Customer Success Team's global training program. This program includes all product and platform training, new hire onboarding, and soft skill/leadership and development training. You will be responsible for developing scaleable training programs, leveraging multiple learning tools, and measuring success throughout.
The primary responsibilities for a Sr. Training Program Manager include:
• Collaborate effectively with AMG's Product Managers, Ad Services and others on the Release Management team to support training for new products, new tools and process changes
• Create scalable training content to foster and grow desired knowledge, processes, and skills to enable a large and growing services team to execute new launches quickly
• Design and Develop training applying adult learning principles to create learning curricula that best suites the needs of the content (online, classroom, or blended learning methods).
• Design and develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, etc.
• Develop targets and metrics to measure the success of training programs
• Collaborate with other Training Program Managers and Instructional Designers, acting as a lead for the CST Training team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the growth and success of AMG's Customer Solution's Team (CST) which includes Account Managers, Technical Account Managers, Ad Operations Specialist and Designers. Candidates will have experience in designing, developing, and coordinating training. They will also have the following attributes:
• Expertise in developing, planning, implementing and assessing training
• Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter.
• Demonstrated experience developing job aids, online tutorials and/or other training materials.
• Demonstrated experience in development learning tools, learning management systems, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills and editing for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development; this includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help write and develop both technical and non-technical content.
• Excellent coordination, project management, and organization skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Five plus years of experience in a training specialist role or similar.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferable in a communication, education or related field.
• Experience developing and supporting training for both technical and non-technical related positions
