The Amazon Display Advertising team seeks a talented, customer-obsessed Interactive Art Director to drive innovative advertising experiences for Amazon and its global brand partners across Amazon's media properties. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional interactive, UX design, and conceptual thinking with strong visual design skills - and has proven, agency/in-house experience in turning advertiser objectives into effective design solutions.
You are an experienced Interaction Designer who has successfully demonstrated taking business goals and turning them into world-class designs. You understand the complexity of marketing and know how to set the visual standard across asset types and marketing projects. You have strong project management skills, web expertise, design ability, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail.

Responsibilities
• Conceptualize innovative advertising experiences and bring them to life
• Understand usability principles that help drive successful designs
• Analyze marketing challenges and create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements
• Design cohesive ad campaigns across multiple platforms including desktop, tablet and mobile devices
• Engage in brand strategy consultative discussions with senior marketer and agency leaders to surface creative scenarios that advance brand objectives
• Create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements
• Partner with sales teams by bringing big ideas to life through ideation and creation of high fidelity concepts for sales presentations
• Design cutting-edge advertising experiences for the world's leading advertisers shaped for Amazon audiences
• Present your cutting edge solutions directly to clients, partner agencies and decision makers
• Pioneer the usage of Amazons unique data insights to better inform creative excellence
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in design or related field
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Proficient in HTML5 and CSS
• Working knowledge of Javascript
• Ability to wireframe and prototype rapidly
• 7 years of professional experience designing advertising and marketing solutions
• Demonstrated ability to create thoughtful design solutions from concept to wireframing and final production
• Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong visual design skills and innovative interactive work
• Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them in creating dynamic advertising solutions
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Mobile and Tablet design experience across multiple formats
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong creative direction, visual design skills and experience creating great interactive advertising experiences is a requirement for application
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advertising experience across a range of media including online, mobile, and print
• Motion design experience and working knowledge of After Effects
