For Amazon Originals Content we provide the most premium experiences with exclusive and creator curated X-Ray content. As a producer on the X-Ray Production team, you will be responsible for working with showrunners, production staff, talent, and across other studio teams such as marketing, PR, finance, legal, development, production, and post-production to acquire and produce compelling X-Ray and behind-the-scenes content for our series and movies. You will work closely with the Seattle-based Amazon Video X-Ray teams to ensure this content is delivered on-time and in a high-quality format so that customers can access this content on our service. We are looking for someone who is resourceful, creative, curious, customer focused, team oriented, and has the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your experience as a producer while learning more about video technology and ultimately changing the way customers view and consume video content.
In this role you will:
• Oversee X-Ray content creation and acquisition on a slate of Amazon Originals
• Meet with show producers, production managers, and other Studios teams to generate ideas, define requirements, manage budget, and staff production teams
• Develop creative and operational execution plans/timelines for every assigned show to ensure tight coordination across other production and studios teams
• Be on-set when necessary to gather or create content
• Work with business affairs, legal, and clearance to ensure content is properly approved and cleared for use
• Work with and be a part of the Amazon Video X-Ray content team to streamline processes, curate content, and develop new product ideas or improvements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 years' industry experience as a producer or working in a production environment
• Proven ability working with all levels of talent, from showrunners and actors to costume design and editing staff
• Process driven, organized, and with great attention to detail
• On set problem-solving and creativity
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once in a deadline-driven work environment
• Strong collaborator, with a willingness to roll up sleeves and help other teams when needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Live action production experience.
• Segment, BTS, transmedia, or short form production experience.
• Innovative and creative.
• Experience with delivery of programs and assets to studios.
• Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and production.
• Experience with guilds and unions.
• Even-tempered, grace under pressure, collaborative problem-solving ability.
• Curiosity in or passion for interactive media and technology
