Amazon Studios Original Content is available to Prime members and is known for bringing customers the Golden Globe-winning and Oscar-nominated films Manchester by the Sea and The Salesman, alongside the Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-winning series Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle. Prime members also have access to a collection of Amazon Original series for kids and an extensive library of Amazon feature films.
The Theatrical Distribution Manager will report to the Sr. Manager, Theatrical Distribution and be responsible for working across all stages of the domestic theatrical distribution processes. In this role, responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
• Executing sales initiatives in assigned regions or exhibitors directed by Sr Manager, Theatrical
• Participating in strategic planning around title windowing and dating of theatrical releases
• Planning settlement and collections strategies with Sr Manager and Head of Marketing & Distribution
• Managing theatrical distribution systems/software
• Executing film rental settlement and collections
• Managing shipments & fulfillment of theatrical bookings
• Maintaining comprehensive theatrical release calendar
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• In-depth understanding of theatrical distribution systems and software
• Deep theatrical sales and distribution knowledge and experience.
• Strong knowledge of the theatrical business across the landscape.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 7 years relevant professional experience in theatrical film marketing with a strong online/digital and social media background.
• Experience in TDS theatrical software
