The Studios team is seeking a highly intelligent, results oriented and talented individual with a passion for original entertainment to join our growing team. The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for executing campaigns on and off Amazon that build awareness for our Amazon Original Series. They will also help with the development of advertising creative, media plans, and the analysis and tracking of campaign success against goals. This individual will be based in Santa Monica, California.
Responsibilities:
Manage the process from start to finish for the development and execution of integrated marketing plans for series and initiatives. This includes:
• Leading creation of goals, marketing approach, audience targets and positioning for assigned series that considers all paid, owned and earned media, as well as key disciplines (e.g., social, promotions, events, etc)
• Clearly presenting all aforementioned information in a timely manner to key executives and partners, including International stakeholders
• Driving the creation of integrated plans by working closely with and gathering input from all stakeholders including, but not limited to, marketing creative, paid media, social, PR, program development, legal, research, production, business development, Amazon Media Group, product and other relevant teams
• Providing inventive and innovative thinking to the process to simplify and improve effectiveness and efficiency
• Aligning closely with research teams to lead series, initiative, brand and other priority consumer insight studies
• Monitoring and analyzing key marketing metrics (CPP, CPM, etc.), quality, and campaign performance
• Collaborating across internal and external global team members and agencies
• Providing detailed plans and reports throughout the process
• Tracking budgets and working with team to process PO's in a timely manner
• Managing support staff effectively and delegating work as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10 years of relevant marketing team management experience with a major brand, focusing on managing multiple franchises, initiatives or products simultaneously
• Experience leading the creative development and media planning/buying process
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and communication tactics, including digital, social, out of home, grassroots, alternative marketing, etc
• Solid knowledge of the TV/entertainment landscape and streaming platforms
• Ability to influence direction on department issues
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party agencies
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate with significant autonomy and discretion
• Strong ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment
• Exceptional project management skills
• Advanced decision making skills
• Positive can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow through
• Bachelor's degree required in marketing, business, communications or similar/related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA preferred
• Relevant marketing experience within entertainment and/or content-focused company
• Demonstrated willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the job
