Full Time Job
Amazon Studios is seeking a researcher to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic team tasked with traditional entertainment research and exploration in the digital space. This person will need to be a highly organized, creative, and strategic thinker to carry out program testing, primary research, and consumer insights research for primetime, kid's television, movies, unscripted, and marketing departments.
Responsibilities will include working on social trend research, key art/asset testing, pilot testing, series maintenance testing, social listening/reporting and more.
This person needs to not only be excited to tackle a unique set of challenges posed by the digital space, but able to pinpoint new challenges and create ways to test and solve them.
Responsibilities:
• Execute key art/trailer testing, pilot testing, series maintenance testing, social trend research, and more on an international scale.
• Implement quantitative surveys and qualitative focus groups to inform business decisions related to our movies and primetime, kids, and unscripted television.
• Analyze data and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to the content development, marketing, and strategy teams.
• Assist with ad-hoc research requests by designing research projects and using third party syndicated data sets to solve business questions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and experience with designing, programming, and deploying survey questionnaires, analyzing raw data, and reporting on results. They must have experience in media or a passion for media and narrative elements to be able to craft program testing. Past experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis and a desire to learn is necessary.
• Bachelor's degree required
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Expert in Excel
• 2 Years in Primary, Entertainment, or Market Research
• Experience managing vendor relationships
• Quantitative and Qualitative Research analysis, including familiarity with statistics
• Experience using social listening tools (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
