Amazon Studios is looking for a Post Production Supervisor to support both the Kids and Primetime Television projects.
Amazon Studios is the original film and television development and production arm of Amazon.com. Over the past 18 months, we have debuted award winning and ground-breaking programming (Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle, The Man in the High Castle). In 2016 we will continue to provide excellent shows and break new ground in the television and film industry.
The Post Production Supervisor will track progress and manage the delivery of all assets from third party productions to Amazon Studios. You will be responsible for maintaining schedules, following up on outstanding deliverables, and organizing assets for delivery to Amazon Video (AV). The role will coordinate with third-party vendors on work related to the editing and versioning of assets, tracking expenditures for all production department related work orders, and distributing assets for PR, Marketing and International needs. You will also evaluate new IT products and provide thoughtful advice on potential risks and issues in a wide range of asset management areas, including potential vendors, archival solutions and new technologies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 4 years of experience in a post-production environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with delivery of assets to studio
• Experience with a variety of digital media workflows
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in various television/film post production environments.
• Experience with scheduling post vendors and creating schedules from the beginning to end of production cycles
• Experience with delivery of assets to studio
• Experience with a variety of digital media workflows
• Knowledge of wide array of media asset types
• Experience with International Versioning and Dubbing workflows
• Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills
• Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor
