This physical production executive will work within the Physical Production Dept. and alongside the Creative Dept. to support the original movies from pre-greenlight through production, delivery and release. This person will work to support the production details such as the creation of schedules and budgets, location scouting oversight, managing tax incentive applications reviewing the project with insurance providers, evaluating safety implications and the like. During the budgeting phase, this person will evaluate budget revisions as the project develops and nears greenlight – working closely with manager, Finance and BA to reach the target bottom line.
This person will assist in the vetting of potential Key Crew personnel such as Line Producers, DPs, Production Designers, Editors etc. The physical production executive will also work with Manager to support the needs of the Marketing Dept. from the early pre-greenlight phase through delivery in gathering assets to become marketing materials as needed during the shoot and/or post for use during release.
This person will be sent into the field to oversee productions as needed by the Physical Production Dept. This will involve set visits and require overall production status reporting back to Physical Production, so that specific and complete reporting can filter up to Heads of Studio. While overseeing a feature, this person will also be responsible for communicating with the Post-Production and Music Depts. to make sure that production work flow is supporting the delivery requirements.
