Amazon Video is seeking a Head of Operations to oversee operations within the creative team including Project Management, Print Production, Digital Asset Management and Creative Resourcing. We want an experienced leader who can inspire and mentor a small team of project managers and work closely with a team of Art Directors and Writer/Producers. The Creative Ops team is responsible for project workflow, timelines, budgets and asset distribution for 360 marketing launch campaigns for Amazon Original Series.
The position is based in Santa Monica, CA.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee project production and creative operations, including workflow, timelines and budgets for an internal creative marketing team.
• Hands on project management of print/digital/broadcast campaigns.
• Create schedules, determines resources, estimate time, cost and project completion requirements; obtain necessary approvals and communicate plans to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure department establishes and maintains appropriate processes, procedures, forms and job tracking to keep deliverables on time and on budget.
• Anticipate and effectively mitigate problems; and consistently communicate to stakeholders about updates on progress, relevant delays or issues, and budget implications.
• Work collaboratively and proactively with various internal teams at all levels to assess campaign requirements.
• Owning the development and implementation of a third-party creative project management tool.
• Provide daily leadership and direction to the creative team to establish project priorities and communicate milestones.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience at a creative agency, network or studio as a Sr. Project Manager with direct reports.
• Detailed knowledge of workflow within a print / digital creative department.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with creative department project management software.
• Expert organizational skills and the ability to prioritize monitor and manage workload.
• The ability to stay calm in the midst of chaos is essential to this role.
• Ability to deal with a variety of creative personalities.
• Ready to jump into any situation, assess and take control.
• Print production knowledge, project scoping, print services and vendor management required.
Television experience preferred.
