Amazon Studios Original Content is available to Prime members and is known for bringing customers the Golden Globe-winning and Oscar-nominated films Manchester by the Sea and The Salesman, alongside the Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-winning series Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle. Prime members also have access to a collection of Amazon Original series for kids and an extensive library of Amazon feature films.
Amazon Studios Original Movies is looking for a Creative Marketing Coordinator to join its feature marketing and distribution team. We are seeking a team player who is results-oriented and has the ability to handle multiple titles/tasks and a passion for independent film. This person would help coordinate the creative marketing materials including print/digital and audio visual for all films in distribution, as well as help the use of those assets in various windows: theatrical, home entertainment and SVOD.
Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for executive and administrative support for marketing leadership as well as providing oversight and reporting for key marketing initiatives. This includes schedule coordination, team meeting management, travel planning, budget and expense reconciliation, and marketing event planning. In this role, the candidate will work with the Marketing team to ensure effective collaboration and determine schedule prioritization. Successful candidates excel at building working relationships and have a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. Meticulous attention to detail, willingness to solve hard problems and operating independently are all highly valued skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-5 years experience, Top-tier education, relevant experience at a creative agency, network or distributor
• Knowledge of workflow within a marketing and distribution for feature films a plus
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Expert organizational skills and the ability to prioritize monitor and manage workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• The ability to stay calm in the midst of chaos is essential to this role.
• Ability to deal with a variety of creative personalities.
• Ready to jump into any situation, assess and take control.
