Amazon Studios Original Content is available to Prime members and is known for bringing customers the Golden Globe-winning and Oscar-winning films Manchester by the Sea and The Salesman, alongside the Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-winning series Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle. Prime members also have access to a collection of Amazon Original series for kids and an extensive library of Amazon feature films.
Amazon Studios releases 14 - 16 films per year to Theaters, Home Entertainment and Prime Video. Our films are ambitious, independent movies by visionary directors that require innovative materials, creative marketing campaigns and excellent communication with internal team members and filmmakers.
Amazon Studios Original Movies is looking for a Creative Marketing Manager to join the marketing and distribution team and will report to the Senior Creative Marketing Manager. We are seeking a team player who is results-oriented and has the ability to handle multiple titles, tasks and has a passion for independent film. This person will help supervise the creation of creative marketing assets including print, digital and audio-visual materials for all films in distribution, as well as help to oversee the use of those assets in various windows: theatrical, home entertainment and SVOD.
Responsibilities:
• Work with marketing and distribution team to ensure effective collaboration and determine schedule prioritization
• Data-centric with ability to take large amounts of information and summarize efficiently
• Ability to understand and summarize large agreements
• Build working relationships and demonstrate ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively
• Schedule coordination, team meeting management, travel planning, budget and expense reconciliation, and event planning
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5 years of relevant marketing experience with a film studio and / or entertainment advertising agency
• Experience with creative development and knowledge of the entertainment marketing industry
• Detailed knowledge of workflow in the creation of creative marketing assets and the ability to prioritize, monitor and manage workload
• Basic understanding of certain legal documents such as paid ad restrictions and how it applies to marketing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Editorial and/or Photoshop experience
• Basic understanding of language and format for various forms of post production and/or print production
