Amazon Studios has an opening for an Asset Manager, Marketing. This role will be in charge of organizing and cataloging all marketing assets related to a feature film's release. This person will also be responsible for distributing and delivering assets to third-party distributors as well as internal Amazon partners. The role will be based in Santa Monica.
Responsibilities:
• Manage asset control, which includes ad/pub & post elements for films delivering to the studio as well as distribution to 3rd parties
• Understand fundamentals of marketing and distribution of feature films, and working with the team to release elements.
• Manage/create database to coordinate all assets necessary; obtain necessary approvals and communicate plans to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate distribution of creative elements to sub-distributors associated with the marketing and distribution of feature films in multiple platforms
• Partner with internal and external partners to create best in class social and digital campaigns
• Ensure department establishes and maintains appropriate processes, procedures, forms and job tracking to keep deliverables on time and on budget.
• Anticipate and effectively mitigate problems; and consistently communicate to stakeholders about updates on progress, relevant delays or issues, and budget implications.
• Work collaboratively and proactively with internal Studios team at all levels to assess project requirements.
• Owning the development and implementation of a third-party creative project management tool.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 4 years relevant experience at a creative agency, network or distributor.
• Detailed knowledge of workflow within a marketing and distribution for feature films.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expert organizational skills and the ability to prioritize monitor and manage workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• The ability to stay calm in the midst of chaos is essential to this role.
• Ability to deal with a variety of creative personalities.
• Ready to jump into any situation, assess and take control.
