The VR Producer will be responsible for developing, producing and collaborating with partners ranging from media companies, brands and personalities on VR events and productions.
AltspaceVR is a virtual reality software company building a new communication platform. It is now used by people in over 150 countries to share a variety of experiences and interact in the most natural and fulfilling way possible online.
We are a relatively small (and thoughtfully growing) team of 37. To that end, our team looks for experienced, smart, and well-grounded individuals who: can thrive in an environment that is fast-paced but not brutally so; are bleeding-edge but well-versed in solid startup principles; are instinctively resourceful and independently driven but are also helpful team players; and who can bring to our friendly, funny table a new bag of tricks and skills to add to the team-making it stronger and more adroit than it was before they arrived. Our team members are likely to say that their contribution makes a difference and their thinking matters to their teammates and to the company's leadership.
Our goal as a business is to provide the most complete, effective, and fun way for people to be together when they are not in the same physical space. Our goal as an employer is to provide the same, in the real world, every day, for the great folks we hire!
AltspaceVR is the leading social VR community and the largest VR venue for live events and performances such as comedy shows, TV show premieres, political town halls, and celebrity AMAs. This person will help AltspaceVR continue pushing the envelope in events (pioneering industry firsts like FrontRow and VR Capture), while helping our partners to maximize the opportunity of working with us. The VR Producer is a fast paced, dynamic position wearing several different hats in terms of coordination, management, and execution of events. We're looking for a seasoned professional with 5+ years work experience who enjoys managing and growing relationships with partners, and is passionate about owning the full end-to-end of production projects from idea to execution.

-Testing and demoing AltspaceVR platform and new features, coordinating rehearsals when necessary
