You've achieved many milestones in your illustrious career. Perhaps you'd like to have more of an impact than your current position allows - an impact on the overall success of your company and its share value. And ultimately the benefits to you and all other company stakeholders.
Or perhaps your success has allowed you to take a break and now you're ready to return to the workforce - but you're being highly selective.
Your strong knowledge of all forms of marketing and your sales experience at both private and publicly-traded enterprises has more than prepared you to lead all marketing and sales aspects of this holding company that owns and seeks to maximize its equity in its portfolio of online brands.
In other words - Chief Marketing Officer of Alternative Media Partners.
Alternative Media Partners (''AMP'') is being organized to commence operations in Q2 of 2017 with equity and revenue-sharing interests in approximately 6 online brands, and $20 million in operating capital.
Media executive and film producer Robert Schnitzer is the Chairman/CEO of AMP.
FY 1, we anticipate 5 full-time employees plus independent contractors, growing to 10 FYE5. So if you are interested in working for a sprawling enterprise with layers of management and thousands of employees, well, this may not be right for you.
AMP is private; however, we intend to go public when the timing is right, currently planning for late 2017.
AMP selects and invests in exceptional online brands that are complimentary and synergistic with its holdings. In return, AMP acquires minority and majority interests in these brands, a share of their revenue and one or more directorships of their boards. Some of those seats may have your same on it. So obviously, experience as a board member is another strong plus in your background.
AMP's success is solely a function of the aggregate success among its portfolio of online brands, of which it owns minority and majority interests, as well as shares of their ongoing revenue.
AMP's CMO will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies among this basket of companies to maximize individual and collective earnings by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; overseeing their execution and advising, coordinating and supporting the staffs at the company's various holdings.
As AMP's CMO, you have a strong background in all forms of marketing, sales orientation, training, delegating, scheduling, coaching and counseling sales and marketing teams.
You are adept at communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions; planning and advising each company with respect to policies and procedures.
You have a proven record of meeting marketing and sales financial objectives by approving forecasting, preparing ongoing budgets, analyzing variances, determining improvements and implementing needed changes across all portfolio brands.
As AMP grows, you will be critical to selecting new portfolio acquisitions through strategic planning and reviews, and in-depth due diligence from a sales and marketing perspective.
AMP intends to go pubic soon after closing its initial private offering. As AMP's CMO, you will assist and support brokers, dealers, bankers and other outside sales entities to market AMP's shares to the public.
In addition, you will achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.
You will be responsible for determining annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas by brand; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new brands; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
You will achieve marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating corporate and brand advertising, ensuring brand consistency and trade promotion programs.
You will Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements and trends; defining markets, competitors' shares, and competitors' strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; and establishing targeted market share.
In addition, as a director on the boards of one or more online brands in AMP's portfolio of companies, you will advise such companies regarding marketing and sales strategies, as well as protect the interests of their respective shareholders which, of course, includes AMP.
You will sustain strong rapports with all of AMP's brands, recommending and implementing their product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; advising on product packaging and/or re-packaging; and coordinating new product development and marketing strategies.
As AMP's CMO, you excel at providing critical and timely information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. You recognize the need to protect AMP's value by keeping information confidential. And you are dedicated to updating you knowledge base by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; and participating in professional organizations.
