We are looking for a few good men (and women) to crew-up for our upcoming movie ''The Sacrifice'' shooting in Chicagoland area this winter.
THE SACRIFICE is Ricardo Islas' new project with ALPHA Studios. Two innocent children, an ancient curse, and a race against time to save their souls.
Positions we are looking to fill:
Associate Producer -- We are not asking you for money. We need your outstanding organizational skills and resourcefulness.
Gaffer/Grip -- We have the cameras, the lights, and the vision. We need your skills and attention to detail.
Set Designer/Prop Master -- Youtube is full of ''how to'' videos, but I wouldn't dare take the fun away from you. Join us!
AC -- DSLR cameras, so many lenses, so many filters, only two hands. With you, it could be four.
P.A.'s -- We need your passion, your good attitude, and you won't be alone... We are all P.A.'s!
SFX-make up -- It's a horror movie! We have punches through torsos (guts included), possessed faces, a victim that explodes from inside out gushing blood all over the room!... okay, getting excited here...
The Terms -- (Cutting to the chase)
This is a non-cash gig. Ideal for students who want to get their feet wet... in blood; or folks who want to participate of the experience of making a movie that will end up distributed. You do get imdb and on-screen credit, meal, and a full HD link to share or download once the movie is available.
We will shoot weekends, and our work-days are normally 8 hours. 10 would be an exception, 14 or 16... nah... that's not us. This means, you have a terrific time with us from 10 to 6, and still have time to go on date or else...
We can accommodate temporary participation: let's say we have 4 applicants for the same position. If you can commit to 3 weekends, we can take you, and schedule another applicant for the following weekends, etc. Flexible and Fun...
