Alloy Media + Marketing is one of the country's largest providers of content, media and promotional marketing programs connecting with the youth adult space. Working with AM+M, marketers reach consumers through a host of programs incorporating Alloy's content division and diverse array of media and marketing assets and expertise in interactive, social network marketing, display media, direct mail, and promotional programming. Alloy Media + Marketing services over 1500 companies including half of the Fortune 200. We are currently looking for an Account Director/Vice President for our Branded Entertainment group in our Chicago, IL office.
Alloy Digital operates the Alloy Digital Network, a premium display and video network comprised of the leading sites in the teen, tween and young adult space (ranked #1 on Comscore in the teen category for the past year) with more than 51 million monthly Uniques. In conjunction with our content division Alloy Entertainment, we create and distribute high-end editorial and video content for our clients. Alloy Entertainment is the creator and producer of such television and web hits as Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, and Private.
The Account Director/Vice President will be responsible for a significant group of agency and client accounts selling into the Alloy Digital premium video and display network, reporting directly to the EVP, Branded Entertainment. This exciting opportunity will allow a talented sales executive to take a key sales role at Alloy Digital, the fast-growing online division of Alloy Media + Marketing. The Account Director will leverage her/his existing network of relationships with agencies and clients and build new relationships with brands and agencies selling Alloy Digital’s online video and rich display advertising services across our leading network of sites. The successful candidate will based in Chicago and will have the opportunity to target key accounts and also contribute to the development of our fast growing business with additional offices in Los Angeles and New York.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Meet or exceeding annual revenue goals by leveraging and establishing relationships with digital agencies and Marketing departments at major brands. Responsibility for prospecting, closing business, forecasting and reporting as well as representing the customer/ sales voice within the company.
Requirements:
• Ability to create and close end-to-end sales opportunities by prospecting new leads, generating sales correspondence, proposals, sales calls, and completing sales.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, closing skills and a strong track record in meeting or exceeding sales quotas
• Interest in the youth marketing space, experience a plus
• Strong phone sales experience
• Digital advertising sales experience of at least 5-7 years
• Established relationships with digital agencies and ideally brands
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment
• Ability to think both strategically and execute against day-to-day objectives
• BA or equivalent is required. MBA or advanced degree is a plus
