Allied Integrated Marketing's Live Division seeks a Promotions Account Executive to join busy team in its Washington DC office, serving performing arts and live entertainment clients in multiple markets.
Requirements:
- At least two years related work experience in a performing arts/entertainment venue; in a marketing/advertising firm; or in a related industry
-Strong creative thinker
-Solid organizational skills
-Pitching ability; comfort and confidence in cold calls
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required, and travel as needed.
Duties include:
I. Marketing/Promotions/Partnerships/Outreach/Street Teaming/Stunting/Experiential
-Conceive, plan, present, budget, manage, and coordinate invoicing for large scale promotions and partnerships for Allied clients including Broadway touring shows, concerts, ballet, opera, family entertainment and more.
-Create proposals documents for existing and new clients.
-Research, hire, negotiate prices for, and train street teams through vendor or other resources.
-Liaison with client and promoters/tour marketing reps to procure art, design, approvals.
-Ticket management: create and maintain detailed records of tickets needed for trade and promotion, securing client approvals, making sure all tickets are distributed as ordered, and monitoring use.
-Represent client and agency at promotional events, including recruiting and supervision of junior staff and vendors.
-Represent agency in client calls, able to answer questions, explain activities and pitch/describe benefits and resource needs.
-Coordinate communication both internally and with client and vendors regarding all promotions/partnership/outreach/grassroots activities. Participate in internal meetings and client meetings.
-Maintain a thorough knowledge of live entertainment in region as well as other lifestyle activities and media. Research and explore examples of other partnerships/promotions.
-Maintain a thorough knowledge of mailing and postage costs, supplies and regulations; delivery options and costs.
-Create compelling client reports and case studies using assets gathered in an organized way, including screen shots, eblast copies, photos, impressions delivery, impact assessment.
II. Media Promotions
-Work with account executive and media buyer to develop goals for media promotions in conjunction with paid buys, and develop opportunities for no-cash promotions.
-Create detailed promotions summary for client detailing elements of promotion, value, tickets needed, time frame, number/length/size of spots, ads.
-Procure tearsheets, screenshots, eblast copies, airchecks, mp3s/mp4s of promotional ads/spots for assembly of final report.
-Participate in client calls as needed to discuss media promotions concepts, needs, and status.
-Create detailed final reports/case studies of all media promotions.
-Cultivate awareness of media in each market served, including personalities and programming, partnership opportunities, community events, and examples of/ideas for promotions.
