Senior Account Executive
Busy, full-service advertising agency in Washington DC seeks experienced marketer to serve performing arts/live entertainment accounts. Responsible for developing successful campaigns, overseeing all client work, managing assigned agency team and serving as main client contact.
Description
• Main agency point of contact with client; develops and maintains good relationships with clients and venues
• Develops and implements advertising budgets and plans for each client with the goal of reaching targeted projections for ticket sales/revenues
• Maintains thorough knowledge of client's presentations, their history, audience makeup, challenges and opportunities, as well as other comparable venues/organizations in market (and outside market for comparison), and current industry trends
• Directs Allied staff and colleagues in creating campaigns based on strategy (print, broadcast media, outdoor, online, promotions, public relations)
• Tracks sales and works with client to adjust plans accordingly
• Prepares invoicing/settlements for client work as needed
• Reviews and analyzes campaign performance
Experience & Skills
• Experience planning/buying media and building integrated advertising/promotional campaigns
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
• Must have experience with budgeting - tracking and staying within designated marketing budget
• Must have experience managing tickets - the ability to accurately allocate trade and correctly distribute to media vendors
• Highly organized, detail oriented and be able to work independently
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Self-motivated, resourceful, innovative, forward thinking, and driven with an entrepreneurial spirit
Minimum 3-5 years agency experience required, preferably with performing arts or live entertainment clients, or in-house marketing experience in performing arts venue.
