All Eyes Media is seeking PR interns for the 2017 summer semester. We're looking for highly motivated candidates who are able to receive college internship credit and who have an appreciation for all genres of music. We are an energetic, hard-working group, so a great attitude and enthusiasm to learn is a must.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in college and pursuing a degree in music business, public relations, marketing or communications.
- Music industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inform via written, oral and visual media.
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
- A detail-oriented self-starter with problem solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with staff to carry out client requirements such as drafting and scheduling media alerts and monitoring account activities
- Researching and creating media lists of relevant media and news outlets
- Coordinate with news media as assigned
- Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records
- Providing administrative support, including database and website maintenance, answering phones and updating press files
