Bi-coastal boutique talent agency is looking for a part-time assistant (20 hrs/wk, flexible schedule) to join its New York office. Office is a small, but positive and supportive environment. Assistant would be using their own personal computer and will be the right hand to the agent heading the NY office that covers on camera projects for a client list of a little over 100 and growing. Previous agency or management experience is a MUST! There is tremendous opportunity for advancement.
Duties include, but will not be limited to:
• General office administrative duties- phones, scheduling meetings, coordinating office supply orders, date entry, and special project assignments as needed
• Managing agency contracts
• Helping provide assistance to cover breakdowns and sending out appointments
• Communicating and coordinating with clients and casting, managers, and other industry professionals
Candidate must:
• Have previous agency or management experience
• Have a wonderful attitude and communication skills
• Be reliable and organized, have wonderful attention to detail, and proficient at multi-tasking
• Be fun to work with! (It's a small office)
• Have a laptop to bring into the office
Experience with TalentPro and/or Filemaker is preferred, but not essential. Experience and knowledge with editing software is also helpful.
