Job Description: Talent agency is seeking a qualified and experienced talent agent.
Job Summary: Interview new talent and obtain employment for talent on a daily basis. Handle contracts between the agency and new talent and contracts between employers and talent. Network and maintain professional relationships with industry professionals and promote the agency. Inform talent on ways to improve their employability by covering areas such as headshots and resumes. Maintain professional relationship with talent the agent represents in order to preserve trust between the agent, talent, and the agency. Submit talent on a daily basis for employment through casting sites and other means as available in the industry.
Minimum Requirements/Skills: Experience as a talent agent is preferred. Must be able to make industry connections and maintain professional relationships with said connections. Must possess negotiation skills. Must be able to handle casting notices and submit talent for auditions on a daily basis. College degree in Business, Communications, or other related entertainment industry degree preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and must be able to become a SAG-AFTRA sub-agent.
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in basic computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel are a plus.
